Aged Care Consultation

As an Accredited Trainer and Supervisor, I have worked in the Aged Care sector for many years providing support and education to a variety of clients including Aged Care Facilities and Providers and Churches.

I consult with several Aged Care Providers on a regular basis to provide training and assist with setting up family support services within the facilities.  

This promotes a healthy positive culture and ensures everyone is working towards achieving the same goals.

I regularly facilitate workshops and educational training based on client
needs. 

Training And Programs

My training programs provide staff with an understanding of the brain and dementia, young on-set dementia, the ageing brain and behaviour, transition into care, dementia and sexuality as well as grief and loss. 

Through this training, they learn effective ways and gain confidence in supporting clients and their families.

Organizations such as the Benevolent Society and Illawarra Trust have engaged me to train and support professional carers and to educate family carers who are caring for loved ones at home. 

I have been invited to facilitate at carers retreats and provide carer counselling.  I am passionate about supporting carers in their roles providing ongoing resources.

My training programs are created to better equip staff and professional carers working within the Aged Care Sector.
