The latest research on coffee says that coffee, good coffee, is a great asset to the brain. Its what we call a neuroprotectant, meaning it protects the neurons or communicating systems of the brain. Its also very high in antioxidants, along with blueberries and pomegranates.

It can even slow down cognitive issues like dementia. This is because caffeine can disrupt adenosine, a cell chemical that can start a chain reaction that leads to a disruption of neuron function and neurodegeneration.

It is also reported to help you live longer, especially women and can reduce symptoms such as tremors in Parkinsons disease.

Coffee is reported to boost long term memory and stimulates the central nervous system by promoting the release of neurotransmitters, especially noradrenaline, dopamine and serotonin.

So, enjoy good quality coffee because the experts say 2 to 3 cups a day is highly beneficial for you.
